Now that you have made a commitment to make golf your sport, you may ask: What will golf do for you?

Golf is an increasingly popular sport and it has the ingredients recommended for both physical and mental health. You can burn more calories duing a game of golf than you can in the gym.

Golf encourages weight loss, toning, strengthening and will reduce stress and lower cholesterol levels.

Golf also brings people together. It is a great way to meet people whether you are new to town or are travelling out of country. The friendships you make will flourish, thanks to the atmosphere of the game itself and the ready-made atmosphere at the club house afterwards.

Golf's uniqe combination of green outdoor exercise and social interaction will help you live longer. Indeed, a study from Sweden tells us you can ward off dementia and live up to five years longer. But like most activities you only get out of something from what you put into it.

So for those who want to give it a try and those who want to make a comeback, our goal will be to help you through the uncertainty.

Don't be shy... give it a try!
